About Trish Clark
Trish Clark was educated in Toowoomba, Queensland by Ursuline nuns. In her teenage years she developed a thirst for travel and adventure. As a young woman she backpacked around Europe and, quite by accident, spent a week in a convent guesthouse, by the Spanish Steps in Rome.

Upon her return to Australia, Trish embarked on a career in the travel industry and for many years ran a successful travel marketing business.  But the warm welcome she experienced in the convent stayed with her.

In time, Trish developed an abiding interest in these unique, not-so-well-known places of accommodation. She embarked on years of dedicated research before publishing the Good Night and God Bless series of guidebooks.

A voracious reader – and still a proud Queenslander – Trish now lives in Sydney with her husband and five children, and continues to appease her severe case of wanderlust.

Even in the 21st century, walking the Camino de Santiago is not for the faint-hearted. But with her faith to inspire and sustain her, recently Trish Clark embarked on the 850-kilometre long pilgrimage trail across Spain.
